Our origin began over 140 years ago as a full line and confection manufacturer. Since those early years, we have produced a variety of candy, ice cream products and frozen novelties. In 1989, we decided to focus our energy on what we do best, producing our great tasting Budget $aver® water ice pops. We enhanced the flavor and began packing our twin pops in our own distinctive new style that we refer to as “Rainbow Array” packaging. The results were amazing! The array of colors suggestive of a rainbow in our new packaging helps to distinguish our high quality, best value twin pop from the rest of the field. Since 1989, The Ziegenfelder Company has gone from a regional ice cream manufacturer to a nationwide water ice processor, producing millions of twin pops annually. Our goals for over 140 years have been and will continue to remain simple: to produce great tasting products and to offer the most product for the lowest possible price to you, our customer.
